During my time at Griffin Technology I was the lead designer over the desktop category where I spearheaded the conception, design, and development of all products related to desktop accessories.

The PowerDock was inspired by the idea that most homes have more than one ipod/iphone so why not design a dock that keeps all of them charged and in one central location. This project started off with quick sketches that were narrowed down into a single design that I took and further developed.

AirCurve is a acoustic amplifier that turns your iPhone into a no-power-drain alarm clock on your night stand, or a mini sound system that never needs batteries or adapters.

This project started out with rough models to test the function of the devise before any design was applied. Once the overall concept was proven to work the sketch phase began followed by 3D SolidWorks models. Below you can see the evolution of the models and sketches as they approached the final design

The idea behind the Navigate was to provide a tactile remote for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The original screen interface prevented one from switching tracks without having to go through several screens. The Navigate simplified this process and put the controls back in the users hand with a simple push of a button.
